Located above Dana Point Harbor, StillWater is the ideal place to enjoy delicious food, local entertainment and unique libations in a friendly, customer-centric environment.

Utilizing sustainable, locally-sourced produce, meat and fish StillWater offers a tantalizing menu from Chef Steve Kling. In addition, staff mixologists have created distinctive drinks, based on the liquors, ingredients and celebrities popular in the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s.

In keeping with the pre-prohibition theme, the rust-colored I-beams, historic pictures of Dana Point and antique inspired-lighting customers are transported back to a prohibition-era speakeasy. The top of the line kitchen/bar and customized outdoor pizza-oven are a few of the visible reminders of the 21st century.

Whether it's an intimate dinner, corporate event or fundraiser for 200+ people, StillWater is the perfect setting for your next event!

Steve Kling

Executive Chef

Steve grew up around good food and developed a deep appreciation for beautiful, and yet humble ingredients and the joy of working with them at a young age. He started cooking at home when he was 9 and would read whatever cookbooks that were around the house. Over the years, his passion for cooking continued to grow, leading Steve to leave college to become a chef. Having spent time traveling extensively through Japan, he came back inspired to delve further into its cuisine by taking on jobs at Kado in Los Angeles and Ozumo in Newport Beach. As Steve continued to hone his skills in fine establishments like Campanile and Bouchon, he found himself learning more and more about food and the hospitality business. Upon returning to Orange County, Steve had stints at fine establishments such as Old Vine Cafe in Costa Mesa and The Five Crowns and Sidedoor in Corona Del Mar. Currently he is at Waterman's Harbor in Dana Point, where he has the privilege of serving both locals and tourists pristine, local seafood in a relaxed setting with stunning views and friendly service.
